Once I had an issue with a movie/show on iTunes and had to speak with support to get it resolved.
If they didn't upload the master copy to iTunes so soon, this wouldn't have happened. They are the ones that submitted/uploaded it to iTunes and are responsible for when it becomes accessible to the public.
Other than that, I did have a couple of movies on Vudu that came from digital copy codes supplied with DVDs/BluRays that refused to offer an Apple iTunes digital copy option.Īs for whose fault this is for releasing too early on iTunes, Disney/Marvel is just as much (if not mostly) to blame. And now thanks to Movies Anywhere, just about my whole digital library in Vudu is also accessible on iTunes. It's cheaper than buying them all over again. What I mainly used Vudu for is for all my Disc to Digital conversions, which gives me the ability to convert almost all of my older SD DVDs to 1080p HDX digital copies for a small fee ($5 for DVD to HD, $2.50 for Blu Ray to HD.
