In addition to the renewal, it’s been announced that original coach Blake Shelton will be departing after season 23. The long-running competition aired two cycles a year until the 2021-22 season when the spring cycle was skipped. NBC has renewed The Voice for a 23rd cycle, but it will return earlier than expected, in Spring 2023.
